Macquarie Harbour, Tasmania, the sole remaining home of the Maugean skate, is at risk, but there’s still time to act.

The 60-million-year-old Maugean skate has been around since the time of the dinosaurs. Discovered only in 1988, the skate now faces a ‘very high’ risk of extinction.
